*Anantnag Police Unearths Concealed Underground Hide at Narco Offender’s Residence During CASO at Tulkhan, Bijbehara* *Anantnag, 05 May 2026:* Continuing its offensive against the narcotics ecosystem, Anantnag Police today conducted a Narco Cordon and Search Operation at the residence of known narco offender *Rayees Ahmad Dar S/o Ghulam Nabi Dar R/o Tulkhan, Bijbehara*. The accused is involved in *FIR No. 50/2021 U/S 8/21, 29 NDPS Act* of PS Bijbehara, in which *2600 bottles of Codeine Phosphate* were earlier recovered. His residential house, valued at approximately *₹1.06 crore*, was attached on *15-04-2026* under NDPS Act provisions. During today’s search, a concealed underground hide-like structure was discovered beneath the cemented pathway within the premises. The structure appears to have been used for concealing contraband substances. The accused has been bound down for good behaviour and further legal action shall be initiated to prevent him from indulging in unlawful activities. Anantnag Police remains firm in its resolve to dismantle the drug network, including its infrastructure and financial channels.
