Srinagar, May 1: In a major boost to government housing infrastructure in the Kashmir Valley, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today inaugurated 368 newly constructed residential units for government employees at Sempora, Pampore. Developed at a cost of ₹90.65 crore, the project aims to provide modern, well-equipped housing facilities to government staff, significantly improving their living standards and overall welfare. The project falls within the constituency of MLA Pampore Justice Hussnain Masoodi, who was also present on the occasion along with senior officials and local representatives. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure and ensuring better amenities for employees serving across the Valley. The newly developed housing units are expected to ease accommodation challenges faced by government employees and enhance overall public service delivery in the region.
