Uttar Pradesh has reduced Infant Mortality rate and Unde5 Mortality Rate significantly in previous ten fifteen years. Still these indicaters are very high as compared to National Average. To reduce these indicaters it is suggested by Mission save in India that Uttar Pradesh be developed as a BABY FRIENDLY STATE. It will save nearly one Lakh U5Children every year. A financial benefit of Rs 25000 Crores will also be there as reduced cost for intensive and critical care of new borns and infants will be reduced. Deaths and diseases due to Pneumonia, Diarhoea, Sepsis and Malnutrition would be markedly less after stat become s Baby Friendly. The youth after this project will be physically, mentally, socially and intelectually healhy. As they are the main pillars of Mission 2047 of our Governments, both Central and State.
