Health Block Boniyar Swiftly Responds to Emergency Amid Snowfall Boniyar, 2nd January 2025: Early this morning, the District Control Room received a distress call from the residents of Hundi Shaldajan,Nowshara, reporting a critically ill cancer patient in need of emergency medical attention. Due to heavy snowfall, road access to the village was completely blocked, complicating efforts to reach the patient.Upon receiving the information from worthy tehsildar Boniyar ,Block Medical Officer (BMO) Boniyar, Dr. Ruqaya Shokat ,immediately coordinated a response. Acting swiftly a dedicated medical team led by Umber Shakeel was dispatched to the patient’s residence. Braving the harsh weather, the team traveled on foot to reach the patient, who is battling CA stomach and unable to take oral food.The patient was stabilized with IV fluids and administered appropriate medications, which were sent by the BMO Boniyar. The team ensured that treatment was provided in accordance with medical protocols, offering much-needed relief to the patient and their family.BMO Boniyar Dr. Ruqaya Shokat commended the dedication and commitment of the medical team for their tireless efforts in ensuring healthcare delivery despite the challenging circumstances.
