We are so excited to share with you that FIVE of our students from Ashram Boys School, Markodu - Madavi Ura, Madakam Bheemaraj, Midiyam Kamalesh, Madavi Gunesh, Erpa Shivaram have been selected for the State Level Hockey Championship in the recently held Chief Ministers Sports Tournament in Bhadradri Meanwhile, the entire team bagged second place in the competition spreading euphoria in the air This outstanding achievement is a testament to their continuous efforts and perseverance by giving the best of their abilities Despite hailing from remote habitations and pursuing initially in IDO Bridge schools, today they have shown their stellar performance in sports This is truly remarkable and a best example of what one can do when given the right environment and support while they are young and in early stages of life Most importantly, we are grateful to Shri B Rahul, IAS, PO- ITDA Bhadrachalam for taking time to visit them personally and gift the necessary equipment, gear, sports shoes etc which they previously lacked His encouragement had profound impact on these young minds which enabled them to carve their names in the history of Palvancha, setting the stage for more success to come IDO had introduced the concept of Bridge schools, make-shift study centers in remote tribal habitations to encourage children to get the basics of Education Later they are joined in mainstream schools in districts to pursue their higher education paving way for a generation of literates We immensely thank our esteemed donors for their kind support and valuable contributions to our Bridge schools and transforming these young minds into what they are today Indigenous Development Organisation - I DO More Power to you All!
