The health camp in rural tribal areas in NARAYANPUR Bastar, Chhattisgarh: As part of our rural sensitization and to develop a feeling of oneness and to know why exactly being a doctor is nobel profession , 45 students from of AIIMS Raipur( Urjaa- The wellness club of Aiims raipur) , along with three consultants, organized a medical camp in Narayanpur, Bastar, in association with Sevankur Bharat (NGO) and Vanvasi Kalyan Samiti (NGO) Our team, comprising Dr Anand Joshi, Dr Satyanarayan Pandey, and Dr Saumitra, and 45 students from AIIMS, set out on a 50+ seater bus on December 14th We visited a clinic in Dandakvan, run by BSP-Bhilai steel plant , BSF-Border security force , and Sevankur Bharat, where we were warmly welcomed with a tribal dance performance and snacks The next day, we conducted a medical camp in a small village in Narayanpur, where over 300 tribal people attended Our team provided medical check-ups, consultations, and treatments, giving us valuable exposure to the healthcare needs of the tribal community We returned to Raipur on December 15th, exhausted but enriched by our experience This health camp was a humbling reminder of the importance of accessible healthcare and our responsibility as future doctors to serve the underserved Bastar #tribal #chhattisgarh #cgtourism #medicalstudent #sevankurbharat🌱 vishnudeosai bjp4cgstate urjaa_aiims_raipur sevankurbharat
