The Voice of the People Party (VPP) has officially introduced five candidates who will contest the upcoming MDC elections from the five constituencies of Ri Bhoi District
The introduction was made during a public gathering held at Umsning Market today
The candidates introduced are:
Bah Apkyrmen Lyngdoh for Jirang Constituency,
Bah Mathew Kenneth Makdoh for Nongpoh Constituency,
Bah Banrikus Nongsteng for Umsning Constituency,
Bah Kynjohlang Rangtong for Mawhati Constituency,
Bah Isynei Hing for Umroi Constituency
The event was attended by prominent party leaders, including Dr Ricky AJ Syngkon, Member of Parliament from Shillong, and Bah Brightstarwell Marbaniang, MLA from Mawlai, among others
The introduction of the candidates was conducted by Dr Kara H Chen, Chairman of the State Election Committee of the VPP
The VPP, known for its commitment to clean and transparent governance, views this as a crucial step toward establishing a people's-centric leadership in the region
