Block Health Mela was held at Old Ralan under Wokha District on March 28, 2025 It was organised by District Health Society under the aegis of Department of Health and Family Welfare Nagaland in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society Wokha.During the Health Mela programme, Dr.Thungchanpeni Patton, District Programme Officer (RCH/UIP) said more health awareness should be given on Ante Natal Check ups (ANC), care during pregnancy and immunization at the community level She emphasized on the preventive aspects of Health System The beneficiaries of Health Mela included pregnant women and lactating mothers who came from villages in Ralan area for ANCs and regular check-ups The doctors examined them and nutritional packages were handed over to them The commendable effort of the ASHAs deserve praise as they brought these beneficiaries from villages and assisted them during the Health Mela
