Students from Years 1 to 7 at Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah, Nairobi, showcased their capstone projects developed as part of their vocational training and life skills courses this year These courses span a wide range of disciplines, including fine arts, photography, filmmaking, architecture, robotics, graphic design, programming, voice modulation, calligraphy, plumbing, electrical, catering, manuscript preservation, fire safety, and first aid They had the opportunity to present the culmination of their year-long efforts to distinguished guests, including Syedi Mazoon al-Dawat Shahzadah Qaidjoher Ezzuddin, Kenya’s Education Cabinet Secretary, The Honourable Mr Julius Migos Ogamba, the Inspector-General of the Kenya Police, Mr Douglas Kanja, and parents of year 6 students who were attending a parent-teacher conference Some of the projects included: • RFID-Enabled Automatic Vending Machine ABS System First Response Training: A practical demonstration of emergency response techniques Mini-Studio Setup: Students prepared a live recording studio, allowing attendees to record their voices and watch real-time editing demonstrations Graphic Design with Adobe Illustrator: Creative designs crafted using Arabic letters from the name; “Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah”
