Zahiruddin Nawadih Road Aurangabad PS Aurangabad Bihar 824101 4. Neeraj Kumar (28 years) son of Narayan Mehta Shahpur Ward, Aurangabad PS Aurangabad Bihar 824101 5. Mohd. Imran (19 years) son of Amanullah Pathantoli Aurangabad PS Aurangabad Bihar 824101 were arrested on 24/01/2026. And 10 laptops, 24 Android mobile phones, 2 routers, and incriminating screenshots were seized. Modus Operandi:- The arrested accused persons were involved in creating and spreading malicious APK files, which were sent to the victims' mobile phones through advertisements and links circulated on various social media platforms. After installing the aforementioned APK files, the accused individuals gained unauthorized remote access to and control over the victims' mobile devices, including the banking and financial applications installed on them. Taking advantage of this unauthorized access, the accused individuals withdrew money from the victims' bank accounts and fraudulently transferred it to bank accounts of their choosing. Further investigation revealed that the arrested individuals are associates of those previously arrested and were working together as part of the same organized criminal conspiracy.
