कोरबा जिले के ग्राम बगबुड़ा स्थित एक घर के छप्पर में मौजूद 8 फीट लंबे अजगर का सुरक्षित रेस्क्यू कर लिया गया। अजगर की उपस्थिति का पता चलने पर एक परिवार के लोग सहम गए। उन्होंने अपने स्तर पर खतरे को टालने का प्रयास किया, जो नाकाम रहा। उनकी सूचना पर जितेंद्र सारथी और टीम ने अजगर का रेस्क्यू कर लोगों को राहत दी। घर में अजगर की मौजूदगी से पूरा परिवार दहशत से भर गया था. सांप की मौजूदगी की जानकारी मिलते ही पूरे गांव में सनसनी फैल गई थी. सही समय पर सर्प मित्रों को सूचना दी गई इसके बाद उसका रेस्क्यू किया गया और सुरक्षित जंगल में छोड़ दिया गया.सर्प मित्रों ने बताया कि सांपों को लेकर लोग अब जागरुक हो रहे हैं और अब सांपों की जान लेने के बजाय सर्पमित्रों को सूचना देते हैं ताकि सांपों के साथ ही आम जनता के जीवन की भी रक्षा हो सके.
