Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar Backs NHM Employees, Urges Govt to Resolve Strike Ganderbal | September 10, 2026: JKUM president and former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar has extended his support to National Health Mission (NHM) employees observing a 72-hour strike across Jammu and Kashmir Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar Backs NHM Employees, Urges Govt to Resolve Strike Ganderbal | September 10, 2026: JKUM president and former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar has extended his support to National Health Mission (NHM) employees observing a 72-hour strike across Jammu and Kashmir. Jabbar said the ongoing strike has affected healthcare services across the Valley, with patients facing difficulties at hospitals, health centres and sub-centres. He said people in Ganderbal are also facing hardships due to the absence of NHM employees from their duties. He criticised the National Conference-led government over the situation and urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Health Minister Sakina itoo to address the “genuine demands” of the protesting employees at the earliest. Jabbar said resolving the employees’ issues would help them secure their rightful benefits while also ensuring that patients do not continue to suffer due to disruption of healthcare services.
