New Delhi: After experiencing rising temperatures signaling the early arrival of summer, residents of Delhi were taken by surprise as sudden rainfall led to a noticeable drop in temperature across the city. Over the past few days, the capital had been witnessing increasing heat levels, with warm winds and sunny afternoons indicating the onset of the summer season. However, unexpected showers changed the weather dramatically, bringing cooler winds and a refreshing atmosphere. According to weather observations, the rainfall not only reduced the temperature but also improved air quality to some extent. Many residents welcomed this sudden change, finding relief from the heat. Parks and streets saw people enjoying the cooler climate, while some areas experienced minor waterlogging due to the rains. Experts say such weather fluctuations are common during seasonal transitions, especially between winter and summer. The combination of heat buildup followed by rain often leads to temporary cooling. While the rain has provided short-term relief, meteorologists suggest that temperatures are likely to rise again in the coming days as summer progresses. For now, however, the people of Delhi are enjoying this brief return of pleasant weather before the peak summer heat sets in.

तेज प्रताप गुप्ता ब्यूरो चीफ कुशीनगर स्कूली वाहनों की जांच हेतु विशेष कैंप का आयोजन, 130 वाहनों का निरीक्षण। सुप्रीम कोर्ट एवं शासन के निर्देशों के अनुपालन में जनपद कुशीनगर में स्कूली वाहनों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से विशेष जांच अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में आज ए०आर० टी०ओ० मो0 अजीम के निर्देशन में ए०आर०टी०ओ० कार्यालय, रविंद्रनगर कुशीनगर में प्रातः 08:00 बजे से अपराह्न 01:00 बजे तक विशेष कैंप का आयोजन किया गया। कैंप के दौरान कुल 130 स्कूली वाहनों का भौतिक एवं तकनीकी निरीक्षण किया गया। साथ ही 130 चालकों एवं परिचालकों का स्वास्थ्य शिविर आयोजित कर नेत्र एवं सामान्य स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण किया गया तथा उन्हें स्वास्थ्य कार्ड भी जारी किए गए। निरीक्षण के दौरान 125 वाहन निर्धारित मानकों के अनुरूप पाए गए, जबकि 05 वाहन मानक के अनुरूप नहीं पाए जाने पर संबंधित विद्यालय प्रबंधक/प्रधानाचार्य को 15 दिवस के भीतर कमियों को दूर कर वाहन को मानक के अनुरूप करने के निर्देश दिए गए। अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए कि जनपद में संचालित सभी स्कूली वाहन शासन द्वारा निर्धारित मानकों के अनुरूप ही संचालित किए जाएं। जांच के दौरान यदि कोई वाहन मानकों के विपरीत पाया जाता है तो उसके विरुद्ध मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के तहत चालान एवं अन्य वैधानिक कार्रवाई की जाएगी। इस अवसर पर परिवहन विभाग के अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।
