During a meeting held today, members of the forum highlighted various issues affecting the public, including inadequate infrastructure, poor road connectivity, lack of basic amenities, and delays in developmental projects. The forum emphasized that despite repeated representations, many key demands remain unresolved. Speaking on the occasion, forum members stressed that the neglect of these issues has caused significant inconvenience to residents and hampered the overall development of the region. They called upon the concerned authorities to prioritize Pampore and ensure timely redressal of public grievances. The forum reiterated that fulfilling these demands is essential to ease the daily lives of people and to bring Pampore at par with other developed areas. - Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Shabir Ahmad Raina, today inaugurated a textile shop at Watergam Rafiabad under the Mission Yuva scheme. The shop belongs to Sheikh Jameela, who had availed a loan under the Mission Yuva scheme. Various government departments and banks provided strong support in establishing the business. The Additional Deputy Commissioner was highly impressed and stated that this is a very meaningful and impactful initiative by the government, as it enables educated youth to benefit from such schemes and become self-reliant. On the occasion, members of the civil society of Watergam as well as local businessmen were also present.1
