न्यूज़: त्रीनगर विधानसभा क्षेत्र में विकास कार्यों को गति देते हुए विधायक तिलक राम गुप्ता ने कोहाट वार्ड स्थित श्रीनगर, गली नंबर-2 (मकान नंबर 608 से 604) तक सड़क पुनर्निर्माण कार्य का विधिवत उद्घाटन किया। यह परियोजना क्षेत्रवासियों की लंबे समय से चली आ रही मांग को पूरा करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम मानी जा रही है। उद्घाटन कार्यक्रम में श्रीनगर आरडब्ल्यूए के पदाधिकारी, स्थानीय महिलाएं-पुरुष, विधानसभा, जिला एवं कोहाट मंडल के पदाधिकारी बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थित रहे। क्षेत्रवासियों ने वर्षों से जर्जर सड़क की समस्या दूर होने पर खुशी जताते हुए विधायक का आभार व्यक्त किया। विधायक ने कहा कि क्षेत्र में बुनियादी सुविधाओं को मजबूत करना उनकी प्राथमिकता है और आने वाले समय में भी विकास कार्य लगातार जारी रहेंगे।

नई दिल्ली से चेन्नई जा रही जीटी एक्सप्रेस में भीषण आग, जान बचाने के लिए कूदकर भागे यात्री। महाराष्ट्र के वर्धा जिले में मंगलवार सुबह एक बड़ा रेल हादसा टल गया। नई दिल्ली-चेन्नई जीटी एक्सप्रेस के एक कोच में अचानक आग लग गई। राहत की बात यह रही कि इस घटना में किसी भी यात्री के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है। आग लगने के सटीक कारणों का अभी तक पता नहीं चल पाया है, लेकिन शॉर्ट सर्किट की आशंका जताई जा रही है। रेलवे ने इस मामले की जांच के आदेश दिए हैं। रेलवे अधिकारियों के अनुसार, ट्रेन संख्या 12616 नई दिल्ली से चेन्नई (तांबरम) जा रही थी और सुबह नागपुर से रवाना हुई थी। जब ट्रेन वर्धा जिले में सिंदी रेलवे स्टेशन की ओर बढ़ रही थी, तभी सुबह 11 बजकर 9 मिनट पर ट्रेन के आखिरी कोच से धुआं उठता दिखाई दिया। आग ट्रेन के आखिरी एसएलआर (सीटिंग-कम-लगेज रैक) कोच में लगी थी।
