Jabbar alleged that the government secured votes by making promises to the public but has failed to deliver on its commitments after coming to power. He pointed out that the election manifesto had promised 12 free LPG cylinders per year to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, whereas the government is now offering six free cylinders annually to beneficiaries under the AAY. Jabbar said Jammu and Kashmir is already facing economic hardships and that ordinary citizens continue to struggle with rising financial pressures. He alleged that the government has failed to honour its election commitments and called for its dismissal, while strongly criticising the NC government over what he termed its failure to keep its promises to the people.
