ST BYTES The state government on Friday informed that the response from its Assam counterpart to resume dialogue as part of the second phase of interstate boundary solving process is discouraging This sentiment was also conveyed to our counterpart in Assam The DC of West Khasi Hills has taken up with the DC of Kamrup I have also taken it up with the chairman Chandra Mohan Patowary,” said Cabinet Minister and chairman of the West Khasi Hills regional committee, Paul Lyngdoh He said this while reacting to the growing demand from the citizens and political leaders alike to resume the second phase of the interstate boundary solving dialogues which is hanging fire for almost two years now Lyngdoh further said, “So far the response has not been encouraging but we would like the conversation to continue and hopefully we should be able to do that soon”
