Another robbery incident has taken place in Lumding. The robbery occurred at Ramkrishna Palli under Ward No. 13 of Lumding Municipal area. A group of robbers entered the residence of Uttam Bhattacharya in Ramkrishna Palli. During the incident, they attacked his son, Ujjwal Bhattacharya, and looted gold ornaments, cash, and other valuables before fleeing the scene. After receiving the information, police reached the spot and have started a detailed investigation into the matter. Local residents have urged the police to intensify night patrolling and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits. The injured युवक was immediately taken to Lumding Hospital for treatment.
