SAHARANPUR Liquor Shop Salesman Murder Case Cracked: Five Alleged Accused Arrested in Nagal Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh: In a major breakthrough, Nagal Police, along with the SOG, SWAT and Surveillance teams, have claimed to solve the murder of liquor shop salesman Lokesh, whose body was allegedly found near a roadside pit. According to the police, the incident took place on the night of August 14, 2026. Lokesh reportedly closed the liquor shop at around 10 PM and left for home on his motorcycle. 🔴 Robbery Plan Allegedly Turned Into Murder Police say the accused allegedly knew that Lokesh carried cash in a red backpack and planned to rob him while he was returning home. According to the police investigation, the accused allegedly followed Lokesh on motorcycles. Near the ITI on the road before Lakhanour, one of the suspects allegedly struck Lokesh's motorcycle, causing him to fall into a roadside water-filled pit. During the alleged struggle over the backpack, Lokesh reportedly recognized one of the suspects and threatened to inform the police. Police allege that the suspects then restrained Lokesh and held him underwater, resulting in his death. 👮 Five Suspects Arrested Police have identified the arrested suspects as: 1. Rahul alias Raj Singh — Naya Gaon, Nagal, Saharanpur 2. Vikas — Naya Gaon, Nagal, Saharanpur 3. Ramdhari — Naya Gaon, Nagal, Saharanpur 4. Vishal — Rohalki Kishanpur, Haridwar, Uttarakhand 5. Vikas — Rohalki Kishanpur, Haridwar, Uttarakhand The five suspects were reportedly arrested near a newly developing colony close to the railway bridge on the road leading from the Muzaffarnagar-Saharanpur Highway towards Ganganouli Sugar Mill. 🔎 Police Recoveries According to police, the following items were recovered: 2 illegal knives 2 mobile phones ₹1,490 in cash Red backpack allegedly belonging to the deceased 2 motorcycles Police have also stated that evidence including CCTV footage, witness statements and recoveries was examined during the investigation. ⚖️ Legal Action Underway A case was initially registered at Nagal Police Station following a complaint by Lokesh's brother regarding the murder and disposal of the body. Police say additional sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) have been added based on the investigation and recovered evidence.
