The programme was attended by Dy.SP Headquarters Ganderbal Shri Umer Urfan-JKPS and Dy.SP DAR DPL Ganderbal Shri Altaf Khan-JKPS, who interacted with the students and staff and sensitised them about the growing threat of substance abuse in society. During the session, the officers highlighted the harmful effects of drug addiction on individuals, families and society at large. They urged the students to remain vigilant, stay away from narcotic substances and play an active role in spreading awareness against this social menace. The participants appreciated the initiative of Ganderbal Police and reaffirmed their commitment towards building a drug-free society. Ganderbal Police remains committed towards safeguarding the youth and intensify public outreach programmes across the district under the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan.
