Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Meets Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi Omar Abdullah on Monday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi to discuss several important issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir. According to reports, the meeting focused on matters related to restoration of statehood, reservation policy, Transaction of Business Rules, and other administrative issues linked to the Union Territory. Omar Abdullah stated ahead of the meeting that restoration of statehood remains a top priority for his government and that the matter would again be raised with the Union Home Minister. The Chief Minister also indicated that discussions would include governance-related matters, including the appointment of the Advocate General and administrative functioning within the Union Territory framework.
