Amartya Sen-
He was born and brought up in India. He got his Nobel Prize for his work in welfare economics and he is also the writer of ‘The Argumentative Indian.’
Kailash Satyarthi-
He is a child rights activist and to date has freed almost one lakh children from child labor, slavery, and trafficking. He shares his award with Malala Yousafzai. Kailash Satyarthi founded the NGO Bachpan Bachao Andolan for working against child exploitation.
