తాంసి మండల కేంద్రంలో గల ఎంపిడిఓ కార్యాలయంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కార్యక్రమంలో బోథ్ ఎమ్మెల్యే అనిల్ జాదవ్ హాజరయి తాంసి,తలమడుగు మండలాల్లోని అంగన్ వాడి సూపర్ వైజర్లకు అంగన్ వాడి టీచర్లకు నూతన ఫోన్లు పంపిణీ చేశారు.

Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao flagged off the delegation earlier in the day at Gonduguda in Utnoor mandal of Adilabad district and travelled with them to Hyderabad. On arrival, he received the participants at Taramati Baradari on behalf of the State government. Around 250 tribals from Gond hamlets took part in the visit. The Minister later shared a meal with them, in a gesture reflecting inclusiveness and cultural exchange. The group subsequently left to visit the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the visit was part of the ‘Adivasi Tourism Exposure Programme’, launched to familiarise tribal communities with urban life and broaden their social awareness. He recalled that during an earlier programme in Kummarigunta, only a handful among nearly 1,800 attendees had visited Hyderabad, prompting the government to facilitate such exposure visits. The initiative, he said, also seeks to encourage educational aspirations among tribal youth by highlighting opportunities beyond their immediate surroundings. The programme would be implemented in phases across the State as part of a cultural exchange effort. As part of the two-day itinerary, the participants are scheduled to visit prominent locations in the city, including Charminar, Golconda Fort, Lumbini Park, Hussain Sagar, Shilparamam, and other key landmarks such as the international airport and high-rise buildings. Mr. Rao said the State government is undertaking measures to promote tourism as a means of livelihood generation, including encouraging cultural performances at major tourist destinations to support local artists. He added that the sector’s growth would contribute to revenue generation while creating employment opportunities. Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju, Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director Gauthami, Tourism Director Lakshman Ranjith Naik, and others were present.
