The BJP requested that the Assembly elections be conducted in a single phase or at most two phases, arguing that long election schedules increase the chances of violence and intimidation. The party also demanded the transfer of officers who were previously shifted by the ECI during the 2019 Lok Sabha, 2021 Assembly, and 2024 Lok Sabha elections, saying officials found unsuitable earlier should not be posted in sensitive roles.
